Laycon, the rapper and former BBNaija winner, has called out DJ Neptune over alleged unpaid royalties for their collaboration.
In an X post on Wednesday, the music star claimed the disc jockey has yet to pay him his “agreement and split” for their collaborative song ‘Nobody (Icons remix)’.
The reality star frowned over the apparent “silence from Neptune for four years” and also stressed the need for artistes to adhere to agreements in the music industry.
“Abeg o, DJ Neptune how far my agreement and split for the “Nobody (Icons Remix)” song though. Is it not still ready? Haba it’s been 4 years,” he wrote.

DJ Neptune has yet to respond publicly to Laycon’s allegation.
‘Nobody Icon remix,’ which also featured Joeboy, was released in October 2020 while the music video followed suit the following month.
The song was dedicated to fans of the BBNaija winner known as Icons.
The song’s original version was Neptune’s collaborative single with Mr Eazi and Joeboy, featuring Focalistic. It was released in August 2020.
