The remake, which was released on Friday, sees the music aficionado play up the beats in the hit song for a style he dubbed ‘Amapiano’ while introducing vocals from the fourth artiste to join in.

Over the course of his music career, Neptune has established his brand as one to reckon with — his works spanning Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Funky House, Dancehall, R&B, among other music genres.

He had started entertaining friends and neighbors at the age of 10 but would later develop an interest in exploring the profession in school after watching several online DJ tutorials and practice.

Starting out his career as a professional DJ back in 2001, he was hired by Nigeria’s first private radio station Ray Power 100.5 FM Lagos where he worked as an in-house DJ from 2004 to 2010.

In 2008, Naeto C, a rapper, signed DJ Neptune as his official Disc Jockey/Hype man, and together, the duo would later create a new face to the Nigerian Hip-Hop/ Nigerian DJ’s in Africa.

DJ Neptune is known for tracks like ‘Tomorrow’; ‘Demo’ with Davido; ‘1,2,3’ with M.I and late Da Grin; ‘So Nice’ featuring Davido and Del B; ‘Wait’ with Kizz Daniel, among others.
