The management of the Lagos State University (LASU) has directed lecturers to stop students of the institution who dress indecently from class.

The directive was contained in a circular issued by Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the vice-chancellor, to deans, heads of departments, and faculty officers in the varsity.

The circular said the development followed “continuous disregard” for the institution’s dress code by the students.

It added that any student that violates the new directive will be sanctioned.
