The management of Landmark University says it has removed tuition on the nine agriculture courses available for undergraduate students.

This is according to a notice shared on the university’s Twitter page on Monday.

The agriculture science courses offered by the university are crop science, animal science, agricultural extension & rural development, agricultural economics, agribusiness management, environmental & natural resource economics, aquaculture and fisheries management, tourism and recreation, horticulture and landscape management.

“All our Agricultural Sciences’ programmes are now tuition-free, effective from 2018/2019 academic session. However, students are still expected to pay other components of the school fees. Check out our Agric Science courses at https://cas.lmu.edu.ng,” the university wrote.

Students will be expected to pay for other expenses including accommodation, internet.

According to information made available on the university website, first-year students are expected to pay N605,000 out which tuition accounts for N305,000.

Students in 200-400 level are to pay N572,000 with tuition gulping N305,000. Final-year students are expected to pay N595,000 with tuition retained at N305,000.

The university was established in 2011 by Living Faith Church Ministries, owners of Covenant University.

It is located in Omu-Aran, Kwara state.
