The self-acclaimed transgender, whose real name is Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju but often referred to as the ‘male Barbie doll’, clocks 28 on Saturday.

He is expected to mark his birthday at two locations — on August 31, at the Pearls Gardens in Lekki Phase 1 and on September 1, at the Paradise Boat Club, Victoria Island.

In a “police wireless message” sighted by TheCable Lifestyle, Muazu ordered the deployment of over 100 police officers to prevent a potential “breach of public peace” ahead of Bobrisky’s birthday.

Bobrisky has always made the headlines for several controversial reasons, including claims about severing his genitals and having numerous boyfriends.

After starring in ‘Bobrisky in Love‘, the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) had in May 2019, initiated three panels to critique the movie over fears that it might have used Nollywood as a platform to preach homosexuality.

“When classifying movies, we check its message, whether it promotes things that we find repugnant in our nation; we check the level of violence portrayed in the movie as well as sexual content and other things,” a spokesperson of the board said.
