Akinmayokun Awodumila, the Afropop singer better known as May D, is currently undergoing treatment after sustaining leg burns from a fire incident in his home.
The DMW singer shared photos of his injury in a series of posts made via his Inststory.
He also put out a video showing that he was admitted to a medical centre, with the footage capturing an in-house pharmacy.
“Hey guys, put me in your prayers. There was a fire in my house and my leg got burnt,” he captioned one photo.
May D, 36, earlier made the headlines after he alleged he was poorly treated while signed to Northside Entertainment, a record label that Jude Okoye had run while doubling as manager to P-Square.
Okoye had thereafter defended himself by claiming that his fall-out with May D began after the singer complained there were no incentives in his contract with the label.
May D had later joined DMW, Davido’s record label.
