Desola, the wife of Kunle Afod, the Nollywood actor, has announced her separation from him — a few hours after celebrating his birthday.
The mother of four broke the news via a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
Desola also described the divorce as “good news”.
“The good news you wanna hear. I left Kunle Afod,” she wrote.

The announcement comes as a shock to many of her fans. This is due to the fact that she celebrated her husband’s birthday on Monday.
She also shared a video of Kunle on her Instagram page while showering prayers on him.
“Happy birthday daddy Okujaye, Desire, Imodola, Yinyenitemi. May God bless you on your birthday and always,” she wrote.

The couple tied the knot in 2003 and their union is blessed with four children.
As of the time of this report, Kunle is yet to make an official statement.
