Kizz Daniel has finally performed in Tanzania, a few days after promising a free make-up show.

Earlier, the singer was arrested in the East African country for not appearing at a paid concert he was to headline.

But a few hours later, he was released from police custody after which he promised a make-up show.

In a now-viral video that surfaced online on Saturday, Kizz Daniel is seen performing at another Tanzania show.

He also apologised again on stage to Tanzanians, declaring his love for them.

“You know I love you right Tanzanians? On behalf of the team, Flyboy FC, the promoters I want to apologise for the troubles we caused you guys this week,” he said.

Stephen Uwa, a show promoter, had earlier alleged that Daniel didn’t perform at the initial Tanzania show because he was not wearing all of his gold chains even though he had one.

“We are doing all we can to ensure appropriate measures are taken to make sure everyone involved is held accountable and our customers and fans are taken care of,” the organisers had said in a statement.

The issue had followed after he was previously criticised for showing up at another US concert hours late.

Enraged concertgoers screamed for a “refund” while booing the singer on stage when he eventually turned up.
