The album, which has seven tracks, was unveiled on Thursday night at a listening party in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

It had been reported that West went into seclusion on a mountaintop in Wyoming to work on his new record and other albums for artistes on his G.O.O.D Music record label.

The rapper had earlier announced that he would release two albums seven days apart; one that would not feature any artiste and another which would be a collaboration with Kid Cudi.

In an interview to promote the albums, the rapper had said the 400 years of slavery experienced by blacks was a choice.

“You hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years? That sounds like a choice,” he had said.

“We’re mentally in prison. I like the word ‘prison’ because slavery is too direct to the idea of blacks. Like Holocaust is Jews, slavery is blacks.”
