In April, Foxx, 55, was filming in Atlanta when he was rushed to the hospital following a “medical complication”.

Nearly three months after he was hospitalised, Foxx took to social media to appreciate his supporters.

“Boat life. Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn, stay blessed!” he wrote on Monday.

In a now-viral video, Foxx was also spotted on a moving boat waving at onlookers as he rides across the river in Chicago.

The clip showed the actor clad in a black top, gripping his phone in his right hand while using the other hand to display a peace sign to the cheering fans.

The award-winning actor was also spotted at the Topgolf in Naperville, Illinois on Saturday.

A source told TMZ that Foxx appeared hale and hearty with his strong swings during play.

“He was walking regular, not dragging his leg. His arm movement were definitely good. He was just regular Jamie,” the witness added.

Foxx’s career spans several decades and includes a variety of roles in film and television.

He first gained widespread recognition for his role in the 1999 film ‘Any Given Sunday’. He has since been featured in several movies and series.

He is also an accomplished musician, releasing ‘Peep This’, his debut album, in 1994.
