Harrysong, the Nigerian singer, has addressed rumours of marital crisis with Alexer Perez Gopa, his wife.
On Tuesday, leaked WhatsApp chat allegedly between Harrysong and his wife showed the singer asking her to abort a pregnancy.
In the alleged chat, he said, “I will not be responsible for no more child from you”.
Another chat revealed the wife accusing the singer of having several side chicks, to which he admitted and claimed that they were better than her.
The purported conversation between the couple sparked several reactions on social media.
But in a post on Instagram on Thursday, Harrysong admitted to having marital struggles with his wife.
He also appealed to the public to respect his family’s privacy.
“After much reflection and discussion with my family, I have decided to put out this to my fans and well wishers,” he wrote.
“While this is undoubtedly a challenging time for my family on the stories making round on social media of the marital problems my wife and I are having, I am appealing to members of the public to respect my family’s privacy this period and also to kindly request for your utmost understanding pls. Thanks for the love and support.”
Harrysong tied the knot with his wife in March 2021 in Warri.
