Uchechi Emelonye, the Nigerian-British singer, is set to join Flavour and Patoranking to headline the 2023 IT ecosystem concert in Lagos.

TD Africa, an IT company, will host the annual concert featuring different Nigerian artistes.

Other entertainers at the concert will include Do2dtun, the radio personality, and Kenny Blaq, the comedian.

The event, themed ‘Celebrating You’, will be hosted by IK Osakioduwa, the TV star.

The concert will be held at the Konga Place in Lekki, Lagos on December 3.

For Uchechi, the concert will be her first time performing at any event in Nigeria since she started her music career in 2020.

Uchechi is a UK-based multi-instrumentalist and an Afrosoul singer who looks forward to connecting with her Nigerian fans.

Showing her excitement, Uchechi said the upcoming show is an opportunity for her to connect to her Nigerian supporters physically.

The 22-year-old will also go on a media tour to interact with people who have shown enthusiasm for her music and want to understand the motivation behind her skills.

Uchechi, a law graduate from Lancaster University in the UK, hit the limelight with her singles ‘Little Black Bird’ and ‘Sunrise to Sundown’.

‘Underwater’, another single by Emelonye, won the BBC Music Introducing ‘Record of the Year 2022’ in Lancashire, England.

In August, she released ‘Baby You’, her latest single.

She is currently studying Entertainment Law for her master’s degree.
