Duncan Mighty, a Nigerian singer and record producer, has expressed his displeasure at men who shower their partners with money but neglect their mothers.
The 37-year-old singer took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to pour out his annoyance at men involved in such acts.
According to him, any man who buys a car for his partner, without first making sure that his own mother owns one will be punished by God.
“If your woman get car wey u buy for her and your mother dey still trek GOD go punish you. If you dey send your woman card and transfer money to her and yet your mama dey beg you recharge card thunder 🔥 you, anywhere you dey now kneel down and slap yourself anuofia,” he wrote.
The Port Harcout-based musician, full name Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu, released his debut album ‘Koliwater’ in 2008.
He has since then done several collaborations with artists like Wizkid, Davido, Peruzzi, Tiwa Savage, Timaya, Wande Coal, and Iyanya.
In 2019, the Rivers-born singer was arrested by operatives of the Imo state police command over his alleged involvement in an N11 million fraud.
Prior to his arrest, he had raised the alarm that he received threats from a group of Okorocha’s boys asking him to return the money gifted to him by the politician.
After his release, he narrated how the police allegedly beat him up and stole his $22,000 while in their custody.
