The ten-track body of work, which follows the release of his previous EP ‘Heart Work’, dropped on Thursday — shortly after the singer had brought Davido, his label boss, onboard for ‘Sunshine‘, one of the tracks off the album.

The project, which Peruzzi portrays as the very first volume of his studio album, also engages a squad of Nigerian producers including VStix, Princeton, SperoachBeatz, Irock Classic, Mr Eff, Lush, Clemzy, and Fresh VDM.

Peruzzi came into the limelight after he was signed by Davido and has since collaborated with quite a number of renowned individuals in the country’s music scene — including Tuface, Afrobeats legend, and Cee-c, Big Brother Naija runner up.

“I woke up one day to a lot of messages to go and check Davido’s snap that ‘he’s playing your song’. I went there and saw my name on the video he posted. He was on tour at the time, so I chilled for him to get back. I linked up with him at the club after his US tour,” he had said while narrating how he got signed without paying a dime.

“And then I found my way to him and immediately I met David, the first thing he said to me was ‘I play your song every day in my car’ and he said ‘come to the house tomorrow’ and that was it. I did not have to pay David any money. We met and then he liked my vibe and that was it.”
