Peter Okoye, a Nigerian singer better known as Mr P, has put out ‘Follow My Lead’, a single, featuring Wande Coal.

Mr P announced the release of the song including visuals for the project on his social media pages on Friday.

The less than five-minute track sees the singers crooning about their wish to spend their lives with the women of their dreams.

“Follow my lead girl. Follow my lead, you dey give me energy. Any wan try dem go bleed. Girl l need this your love, girl I’m in need. I no get five loaves of bread but l swear we go feed,” they could be heard singing.

The project is said to be a track off ‘The Prodigal’, his forthcoming album, billed for release in 2021.

Mr P has continued to pull the strings in the Nigerian music industry with several beautiful offerings, awards and recognitions to his name.

He has also continued to make the headlines over the protracted feud between him and Paul Okoye, his twin brother, which led to the collapse of Psquare.

The 39-year-old had on Thursday taken a swipe at those weighing into the dissolution of Psquare, arguing that the musical group is not the first group to split.

“This is no longer about what you want! It is about what we want, so respect our decisions. We are not the first group to split or make such decisions. Plantashun Boiz, StylePlus, Mohits and Remedies. So enough of the time wasting. Blood is thicker than water! Blood is thicker than water! Please my wife and children are they the water or Zobo?” he had said.
