Mayorkun, the Nigerian singer, has put out two new singles titled ‘Oshey Boys’ and ‘Alarm’.
The musician announced the release of the songs via his social media pages.
The songs come on the back of ‘No Competition’, Mayorkun’s first single of the year.
‘Oshey Boys’ sees Mayorkun describing himself as the “Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)”.
He also hopes for greater achievements as he moves forward in his music career.
“Thankful for better days and I still hope for the best/ Wan f’okan si, won f’okan le/ Won mo p’ade vex/ Emi gan GOAT like I lmee/ Food for thought no digest o/ Time, no dey/ Time, no dey/ Time, no dey/ Time (Let more blessings follow you),” he sings.
In ‘Alarm’, the singer confesses his love for his lady, Amina.
“Amina, finish my stamina/ Amina, jowo ma pami na/ I dey beg/ Bambiala, bambiala/ One time for my baby, for my baby, one time/ If you no mind be my Bonnie, I’m Clyde/ I double tap when I see you online/ Because you fine pass a million times two/ For my baby, one time,” the lyrics reads.
The singer gained popularity after ‘The Mayor of Lagos,’ his debut album, featuring D’banj, Davido, Patoranking among others.
He has established himself as a household name in the music industry.
He also bagged several awards including Artiste of the Year’ in 2017 as well as ‘Next Rated’ artiste at The Headies in 2018.
