Gyakie, the Ghanaian singer and songwriter, has come through with her highly anticipated single titled ‘Something’.

The ‘Forever’ crooner announced the release of the track via her Instagram page on Friday.

“My new song ‘SOMETHING’ is now out on all music platforms. Thanks for your patience darlings. Go and stream and share,” she wrote.

The post was accompanied by a video showing the singer dancing to the song with a group of people. She also urged her fans to “learn the dance and tag her”.

In the less than four-minute track, the 23-year-old songstress blends her sonorous voice with the instrumentals to birth a vibrant sound.

“It’s like there’s something running/ Down down down below/When you do me like this/ And I really wanna say nice things/ Just go shut your door/ Oh you, oh you know why we’re herе/ It’s till we go inside that grave,” she sings.

Gyakie, whose real name is Jackline Acheampong, hit the limelight after releasing her debut extended play (EP) titled ‘Seed’.

Her song ‘Forever’ also topped music charts such as Billboard’s Top Triller Global and Shazams Top 200 charts.

She later remixed the track featuring Omah Lay, the Nigerian singer.
