The embattled rapper is currently facing federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges in a 14-page indictment that was unsealed on Tuesday.

Federal prosecutors, in the indictment, charged Diddy with sex trafficking by force, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy.

They alleged the rapper, with help from Combs Enterprise associates, ran an “enterprise that he engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor or, kidnapping, arson and other crimes”.

Combs was said to have “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” from 2008 to now.

In the allegations bothering 11 civil complaints filed against him since 2023, Combs is accused of transporting commercial sex workers across state lines and internationally.

Combs allegedly “manipulated women to participate in highly orchestrated performances of sexual activity with male commercial sex workers”.

Prosecutors said he allegedly coerced the women into participating by giving them drugs, “controlling their careers, leveraging his financial support and threatening to cut off the same, and using intimidation and violence”.

“Sometimes unbeknownst to the victims, Combs kept videos he filmed of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers,” the indictment added.

It claims Diddy’s victims were entangled in a web of control through “physical violence” and the promise of career advancement, with the media mogul “granting and threatening to withhold financial support, and by other coercive means, including tracking their whereabouts, dictating the victims’ appearance, monitoring their medical records, controlling their housing, and supplying them with controlled substances.”

If convicted, Combs stands to face decades in prison.

Diddy has been accused of sexual misconduct by different men and women since November 2023

The 54-year-old media mogul has been in the public eye since November 2023 after several women, including Cassie Ventura, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, took him to court, claiming they were sexually assaulted.

Cassie, who is a singer, accused the rapper of rape, abuse, and human trafficking during their 10-year relationship.

The lawsuit labelled Diddy a “serial domestic abuser, who would regularly beat and kick Ms Ventura, leaving black eyes, bruises, and blood”.

Diddy, however, denied the allegations, calling them “offensive and outrageous”. He also accused Cassie of extortion.

The lawsuit was settled out of court one day after it was filed.

Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, Diddy’s former producer, also filed a lawsuit alleging that the rapper sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him for over a year.

In March, the United States Department of Homeland Security raided two properties linked to Diddy.

In May, a video surfaced showing Combs assaulting Cassie in 2016.

Diddy apologised over the incident, saying he was “truly sorry” and that his actions were “inexcusable”.

A Michigan inmate was recently awarded $100 million for a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy by default judgment.
