Ademola Adefolahan, Nigerian singer better known as Fireboy, has come through with ‘New York City Girl’, his latest single.

The gifted singer took to his social media pages on Monday to announce the release of the audio and visuals for the new project.

The nearly three-minute song sees Fireboy expressing his feelings for his lover from far-away New York and his wish to spend the rest of his life with her.

“Fine girl from New York City, I don’t mind if you give me chance, can I have just more that before you leave for the summer time. Run away with me, I don’t care if you’ve got a man..,” he can be heard singing.

Since he joined YBNL, a record label owned by Olamide, a rapper, in 2018, the singer has continued to pull the strings with several beautiful projects including ‘Vibration’ and ‘Need You’.

He has amassed a huge fan base within a short span due to his impressive offerings. He also secured the ‘Most Promising Act of the Year’ category at the 2019 City People Music Awards and nominations at the 13th Headies as well as at the 2019 African Music Awards (AFRIMA).
