Dremo, a DMW-signed singer, has released the second volume of his 2018 body of work ‘Codename’, featuring Davido, Falz and Naira Marley.
The 12-track project, which was released on Friday, also sees the singer team up with other bigshots in the country’s music space, including Sinzu, Peruzzi, Idowest, Lil Frosh, The Flowolf, and Knuck.
The album is produced by Benjamz, Alpha Ojini, Fresh VDM, Vsix, Samfire among others.
Like many other artistes, Dremo has continued to pull the weights of fame in the entertainment scene ever since he was signed by Davido, an Afropop singer.
In 2017, the 26-year-old music star had recounted how working with the DMW team, founded by Davido, helped nurture his music career.
“I met Davido two days before he signed me. The president of DMW, who has been friends with me from way back, messaged me and said Davido was in town,” he had said.
“I got to Lagos and recorded a song that night after we got back from the club but I couldn’t sleep. I recorded the song on Davido’s laptop. After that, I went home.
“On April 1, I got a call from Davido saying, Omo, you are signing tomorrow o. It was like an April fool to me. I had to go to Lagos and find out.
“Working with DMW has been great. It has helped me grow, diversify. I am the only rapper in DMW, I have learned a lot from Davido and everyone around me.”
