Denrele Edun, the TV personality, and Lateef Adedimeji, the actor, are among the prominent names to feature in a forthcoming romantic comedy titled ‘I Love You Regardless’.

The movie is scheduled to premiere at the cinemas nationwide on February 9.

Tosin Allen, the producer, in a statement, praised the star-studded cast, adding that the movie is about love, tribe, friendship, and forgiveness.

“ I Love You Regardless has a rich ensemble of cast with iconic actors that have made their mark and young ones who are set to shine brighter like shining stars,” she said.

“The movie features renowned actors and actresses including Jidekene Achufusi, Titi Joseph, Eyinna Nwigwe, Tosin Pedro, Abdulateef Adedimeji, Denrele Edun, Tina Mba and others.”

On her part, Titi Joseph, the co-producer of the movie, said the film’s theme was “crafted to entertain, inform and educate the diverse audience”.

She said it was “great” working with the cast and crew. She also pleaded with viewers to appreciate everyone who “invested time and effort” into the movie.

“I Love You Regardless is a movie everyone will love as its theme was crafted to entertain, inform and educate the diverse audience of cinemas,” she said.

“It was great working with all the casts and crew as with production of movies, producing the movie had its challenges but we rose above it.

“There is something in the movie for lovers and would be lovers as you can’t tell where love would find you. I want to appreciate everyone who invested time and effort in this project.”

The movie follows the lives of Tosin and Ugonnia, who have to learn to co-habit despite hating each other’s guts after a shady house agent rents the same apartment to both of them.

The film was written by Chino Marchie, directed by Chibuike Ibe, and produced by Allen and Joseph.
