Davido, the Afrobeats singer, has hinted at a new collaboration with Chris Brown, the American R&B artiste.

The music star reacted to a chart record involving one of his collaborations with Brown and the Nigerian singer Lojay.

Davido took his his page on X where he stated that a new Chris Brown collaboration will be coming in April.

“New OBO X @chrisbrown APRIL 11TH,” the singer’s post reads.

Checks on Chris Brown’s page seemingly confirmed the collaboration.

Brown unveiled a tracklist for his upcoming album ‘Deluxe’ featuring Davido on track seven.

The collaborative track is titled ‘HMM’.

This would not be the first musical collaboration between Davido and Chris Brown.

In 2019, the music stars teamed up for Davido’s hit single ‘Blow My Mind’.

Similarly, Chris Brown enlisted Davido for his project ‘Lower Body’ in the same year.

In 2020, Davido collaborated with Chris Brown and Young Thug, the US rapper, for ‘Shopping Spree’.

Chris Brown teamed up with Davido for their 2022 collaboration ‘Sensational’, which also featured Lojay, a Nigerian singer.

Both artistes have continued to enjoy an avalanche of awards and recognition globally for their talents.

Davido rose to prominence with his 2012 hit ‘Dami Duro’.

He released ‘Timeless’, his fourth studio album, in March 2023.

The singer recently received his first-ever Grammy nomination in three categories for the album.

Chris Brown, on the other hand, is considered one of the most influential and successful R&B singers in the world.

The singer also has ten albums to his credit.
