Davido, the Nigerian singer, says the only time he ever felt disappointed in himself was when he quarrelled with Chioma Rowland, his wife.
In a recent interview with Anas Bukhash, the media personality, Davido revealed he once had “a little rift” with his wife.
The music star said his regret stemmed from his realisation that he could have handled the situation in a better way.
He, however, did not provide further details of the said rift.
“Probably like when me and my wife first had a little rift,” the singer said when asked the moment he was most disappointed in himself.
“I felt I could have done better, you know, because she is an amazing person, you know what I’m saying.
“I think that’s when I was like damn I messed up, but I fixed it, we are married now.”
Davido engaged the celebrity chef in 2019.
But their union temporarily hit the rocks in 2021 amid allegations that the singer was in another relationship.
In March, the ‘OBO’ coroner confirmed that he and Chioma had officially gotten married.
“I travelled, I’m married. A lot of different things but we’re ready now to get back on the road,” he had said.
The couple lost Ifeanyi, their only child together, on October 30, 2022.
