The ‘OBO’ crooner shared a snippet of the song titled ‘Stand Strong’ which features Kanye West’s Sunday service choir, The Samples.

According to him, the song would be the first track off his upcoming album. He also said the project would be released on May 13.

In the clip, Davido appears to be adopting West’s Sunday service style for the new song.

In 2019, the US rapper did a similar thing with his band when he sampled ‘If’, Davido’s hit song.

It remains to be seen if the forthcoming song will be a collaboration between West and Davido.

In a series of posts accompanying the clip, Davido said the project is special to him. He added that the project’s “conception has been different.”
