Clem Ohameze, the Nollywood actor, has received the sum of N8 million to undergo surgery.

The movie star was gifted the money by Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta state.

Photos of him receiving the cash during a church service surfaced on social media platforms on Monday.

The film veteran had earlier recounted how his health challenges started after he was involved in a car accident.

Ohameze said he had visited the hospital where an x-ray was conducted to ascertain the extent of injury sustained.

He added that the x-ray showed that his cervical vertebrae 3 had collapsed, causing pressure on his spinal cord which resulted in the retardment of his lower limb.

Ohameze had also called on Nigerians to pray for him ahead of his surgery while debunking claims that he asked people for money.

“The only thing I need from people is their prayer. There’s nothing more than prayers. Prayers go beyond everything. I don’t want money from anybody, I only want their good thoughts and prayers,” he had said.

The ace film star had disclosed that his absence in movies in recent times was due to his health challenges.
