Chrissy Teigen, American TV personality, says she will soon be having a surgery to remove her breast implants, shortly after facing backlash for receiving a COVID-19 test.
The 34-year-old cookbook author had earlier taken to Twitter to share a video of herself being tested for the novel coronavirus at home with the caption: “Honestly loved it” — and the tweet attracted criticism on Tuesday.

In an attempt to clarify her action, Teigen took to her Instagram page to disclose that the test was in preparation for her upcoming surgery, which will be a removal of her breast implants.
The mother of two, who is married to John Legend, added that while the breasts have “been great” for her over the years, they have left her unsettled after experiencing motherhood.
“Hi hi! So, I posted myself getting a covid test on the twitter, as I’m getting surgery soon. A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!,” she wrote.
“They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me!
“All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”
In March, Teigen had explained how she got the implants at 20 when she was still a swimsuit model.
“I think you’re supposed to replace implants every 10 years. But when you have kids, you think about the risks of surgery and I think, This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery,” she had said.
