Chrissy Teigen, American TV personality, has opened up about having breast implants when she was 20 — the first time she’s admitted to the procedure.

In a recent interview with Glamour UK, the 34-year-old model, who is married to John Legend, explained that despite wanting to remove the implants now, she fears there could be complications in doing so — as she doesn’t want to “die in a boob surgery.”

She said she had the surgery when she was still a swimsuit model but now feels different about her choice, having had children and experienced the rigours of motherhood.

“Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old. It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!” the mother of two said.

“But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.

“I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift.

“I think you’re supposed to replace implants every 10 years. But when you have kids, you think about the risks of surgery and I think, This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.”

In 2017, Teigen had opened up about her body image and some beauty procedures she underwent, revealing that she once had her armpit fat sucked out to look good in dresses.

“I had an armpit sucked out. It’s a big secret, but I don’t care. It was nine years ago or so. Now it’s back though, so now I’ve gotta pay for [liposuction] again,” she had said.

“It was so easy. It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I’ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets.”
