Charles Okocha, the Nigerian actor, is demanding a rematch with Portable, the singer, alleging that their recent boxing match was rigged.

The contest was held in the early hours of Wednesday at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos, with Portable declared the winner.

Reacting to his defeat via Instagram, Charles claimed that the match was rigged and described the referee as “incompetent”.

He also called for a rematch.

“How can you give up on the 3rd round when we have 4 rounds? How do you take off your gloves on the 3rd round? That is total disqualification when the fight has not ended,” he said.

“You all know this sh*t was rigged plus an incompetent referee that knows nothing about boxing rules…nevertheless we move✊rematch soon.”

The highly entertaining bout followed after the singer claimed the actor ripped him off money.

Last month, Portable accused the actor of refusing to pay him N20 million after an endorsement deal.

He claimed Okocha was paid N40 million but the actor refused to give him his share of the money.

On his part, Okocha said Portable had reached out to him for “friendship”. The actor said he would later invite Portable to an event because he “wanted to help a brother”.

Okocha claimed the singer did nothing at the event, arguing that no agreements were signed. He added that he “transferred a whopping N5 million” to Portable after the event.
