Burna Boy, the Grammy award-winning Afro-pop star, has acquired a brand new 2022 Lamborghini Urus, an SUV manufactured by Lamborghini, an Italian automobile brand.
The 30-year-old singer took to his social media pages on Wednesday to announce the acquisition of the luxurious SUV.
The elated ‘African Giant’ crooner shared a series of pictures on his Instagram stories alongside captions that embody a declaration of self-love and braggadocio.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Damini. God loves you, your family loves you and I love you. You don’t need nothing else,” he wrote.
“2022 Novitec edition. Newest member of the Lamborghini family. ”
According to Carmart Nigeria, a 2022 Lamborghini Urus “cost total purchase price of ₦253,946000 excluding shipping and customs fee.”
The SUV acquisition is the first time Burna Boy will be making the news after his nasty social media exchange with Shatta Wale, the Ghanaian dance hall singer, over his claim that Nigerian artistes fail to reciprocate the support they got from Ghana.
Burna Boy had earlier slammed him over his remark and challenged him to a one-on-one fight.
But Wale, who accepted the challenge, had dared him to a freestyle battle instead — a suggestion which did not sit well with the ‘Ye’ crooner.
The Nigerian singer, however, pulled out of the face-off and apologised for engaging the Ghanaian singer, whom he described as a “pig.”
