In September, the Nigerian actor announced his separation from his wife Bunmi, citing irreconcilable differences.

In an interview with TVC, Ninalowo dismissed rumours that he might have cheated on or assaulted his wife.

He said that he celebrated his wife and she gained fame through his love.

The actor added that if he falls in love with another woman in the future, he will express his love openly as well.

“The truth has no lies in it, number one. And number two, you cannot wear a mask for six months, not even saying a year or five years,” Ninalowo said.

“In the past five, six, seven years have you heard of infidelity about me? Have you heard of domestic violence?

“And, if you have a woman, any kind of woman in today’s world where people must be heard. A woman as beautiful as the one I celebrated.

“First of all, none of you guys knew that woman until I brought her out to celebrate her. Everything you celebrate today is of me celebrating that woman.

“She is not a star. She became a star through my love. Get that fact very clear. When I meet another woman tomorrow and I fell in love, I will do exactly the same thing. I am a lover.”

Ninalowo and Bunmi had been married for 18 years and had two children together, a boy and a girl.

Ninalowo confessed to his past marital difficulties last year and how he had not provided Bunmi with the necessary emotional support.

The actor hinted at finding love again.
