The fifth episode of the Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria, a talent reality TV show, is set to begin with contestants jostling for the grand prize.
This comes after the fourth episode of the show was aired on February 26.
The show’s fourth episode saw a dramatic shift in the dynamics as viewers were treated to the acrobatic and dazzling displays put up by BGirls, a group of female contestants.
Sure-footed, confident, and talented, the BGirls were fun to watch as they thrilled with mesmerising dance moves and battled their way past the qualifying rounds.
BGirl Cruxy was one of the stand-out dancers in Abuja and in episode four as she defeated her competitors to book a place in the Lagos semis and finals.
“I have always wanted to be on TV and I believe this Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria competition will take me to that high level,” she said after her victory.
Apart from break dancing, viewers were also thrilled by poppers drawn from the six venues as they jostled for the next round.
With the first four episodes now over, contestants are expected to slug it out in the Afro dance category as from episode five with Poco Lee serving as one of the judges.
Winners across the various categories of the contest are expected to get a total cash prize of N84 million and a chance to represent Nigeria at the global stage of the competition.
