Efe Ejeba, the winner of the 2017 edition of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has recounted how he narrowly escaped what he described as a “kidnap or robbery attempt”.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the budding singer narrated how he was ambushed on Sunday night and had to wriggle his way out.
Efe shared a video of his damaged car while appreciating God for saving his life.
The reality star said he doesn’t know if the intentions of his attackers were to “kidnap or rob me of my belongings.”
He added that the attackers kept bashing his car while “I had to maneuver my way”.
“This country is finished. Last night I was ambushed. I tried my best to escape,” he said.
“I don’t know if it was a robbery or kidnap attempt but thank God for my life.
“I don’t know what will have been my story right now. Look at my damaged car. They hit my car, I had to move and maneuver my way.”

In a follow-up post on his Instagram stories, the reality star appreciated everyone who reached out to him.
“Thanks for all the messages and calls. Really appreciate it. Nigeria will be great soon,” he wrote.
