Neo Akpofure, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars housemate, has ended his relationship with Tolanibaj, a fellow housemate.
Neo and Tolanibaj have been sharing romantic moments since the beginning of the reality show.
But on Thursday, Neo penned down a heartfelt break-up message. The duo is seen lying on the bed while Neo reads out the letter to Tolanibaj, born Tolani Shobajo.
In the letter, the reality star appreciated Tolanibaj and urged her to continue being herself.
He added that her “doubts about my honesty” caused him discomfort.
“You are a great person and you have been a great friend. A strong push that inspired me to be here and there is nothing I appreciate more than that,” he reads from the letter.
“But at this point, I feel like my honesty has been raised to pretense so many times than I can handle. Because clearly, this is not what I bargained for or planned. I promise to be there in every way that I can and I promise to be loyal just like I have.
“But too many times you have chosen to not take my word for it and too many excesses have been a reason for either party to be disrespected mostly because of you or I feel the need to do exactly as you please in different situations without thinking of the consequences of our actions, mostly your reactions.
“I appreciate all that we have been through but at this point, I think I need to just get my emotions back in my hands. You are awesome, I trust you to keep being you and being awesome. You are Tolanibaj. But this is where I quit.”

Tolani Baj: You see this thing you want to quit, I'm not quitting it, you can quit it on your own, on the outside. This is just one of the many obstacles we will overcome.

TOLANIBAJ DECLINES
Tolanibaj surprised BBNaija viewers after she refused to agree to the breakup.
She also tried to convince Neo to change his mind in the restroom.
“This is just one of the many obstacles we will overcome. This thing that you want to quit, I’m not quitting it,” she said.
