The seventh edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show is finally here.

The show’s season seven kicks off later today at 7 pm.

DOUBLE PREMIERE — HOW TO WATCH IT

The reality show will premiere with two opening ceremonies on Saturday (today) and Sunday.

It will air from 7 pm on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 with a simulcast on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family.

The show will run for 72 days and end on October 2, 2022.

This will be the second time the show will be opening with two premieres; last season was the first.

N100 MILLION GRAND PRIZE

The winner of the show this year will get a grand prize of N100 million.

According to the organisers, N50 million is the cash prize while the other N50 million is an estimation of prizes from the sponsors.

This makes it the highest grand prize a winner of the reality show will be receiving — since the BBNaija debuted in 2006

EBUKA RETURNS AS HOST — AGAIN!

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has no doubt become an integral part of the show since he hosted it in 2017.

The lawyer returns as the host again for the 2022 edition — making it his sixth consecutive year anchoring the reality TV show.

Ebuka participated in BBNaija’s debut season in 2006 and has since etched his name on the hearts of the show’s lovers.

THIRTY FANS TO WIN 1 MILLION EACH

Multichoice had earlier announced that 30 fans will win N1 million each in the Fave Lock-In promo exclusive to DStv and GOtv customers.

THE ‘NINJAS’ ARE BACK

Ahead of the show’s premiere today, fans will also be looking forward to the return of in-house guides popularly known as “Ninjas”.

The organisers had excluded the “Ninjas” from the last two editions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
