Ayra Starr, the Nigerian songstress, has revealed that her mother advised her to start wearing long skirts.
Starr’s choice of outfits has always attracted criticism on social media.
In November 2022, the Mavin Record artiste was lambasted on social media over the dress she wore to a concert in Lagos.
Reacting to the criticism, Starr said people should stop judging her based on her outfit.
She added that opinions from critics do not matter to her.
Last June, Starr was also criticised for her skimpy dress during a concert in Athens, Greece.
Months later, the songstress was lambasted over her outfit during her ’21: World Tour’ in Stockholm, Sweden.
But in a recent post on X, Starr shared a video of herself dancing in a grey-coloured crop top and maxi skirt.
She revealed that her mother has asked her to start putting on long skirts.
“My mom said I should start wearing longer skirts,” she wrote.
