Burna Boy, Flavour, and Seyi Vibez are set to headline the highly anticipated first-ever Afro Nation festival in Lagos, Nigeria.
The two-day event will take place between December 19 and 20 at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Onikan.
The festival lineup boasts other notable acts such as Black Sherif, the Ghanaian rapper, and J Hus, the British rapper.
Adesope Olajide, the media personality and host of the 2023 Afro Nation festival, said the festival has been at the forefront of celebrating Afrobeats and Afropop culture.
He referred to Lagos as the “home of Afrobeats,” adding that the 2023 edition will be a unique and unforgettable experience.
“Afro Nation is the biggest festival celebrating Afrobeats and Afropop culture in the world and to have two of the biggest acts in Burna & J Hus performing in its first edition in Lagos, Nigeria (the home of AFROBEATS) will surely make ANN2023 a one of kind experience not to be missed,” he said.
The show’s tickets will be on sale from Thursday on the official Afro Nation website from 10 am.
Founded by Obi Asika, and Smade, in 2013, Afro Nation was established to bring the best African artistes together.
It has since gained global recognition since its inception.
In 2019, Afro Nation was nominated in the Best Overseas Festival category at the UK Festival awards.
