Genevieve Nnaji, the ace actress, returned to social media on Wednesday to celebrate her birthday.
The screen legend turned 44 on May 3.
After being away from social media for months, Nnaji took to her Twitter page to put out a new photo of herself alongside the caption “plus one”.

She also took to her Instastories to share birthday wishes from her friends like Waje, Stella Damasus, Uche Jombo, Funke Akindele, and Ini Edo.
The film star has been in the public eye since she unfollowed everyone on Instagram in January 2022 and subsequently deleted all her posts on the platform.
Her last tweet — prior to her birthday post — was on December 31.
Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2023!! 🎊🎉.

“Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2023!!. Love you loads,” she wrote ahead of the new year.
At some point last year, rumours had swirled that she was battling a mental illness.
Emeka Rollas, national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), promised to reach out to her and find out if she was in good health.
“Maybe I will have to reach out to her since I am just getting this news from you now. I have not learned of that,” he had said.
”I will reach out to her to know whether she’s safe or not after your call. I cannot just conclude with hearsay or rumour.”
Before Nnaji’s exit from Instagram, the actress reflected on mental health.
“Mental health is more spiritual than it is physical. Rededicate your life to the God that you serve. Get rebaptized,” she wrote.
