Chukwuka Ekweani, the Nigerian singer better known as Ckay, has acquired a luxury house.

The ‘Love Nwantiti’ crooner took to social media to announce the purchase of his new mansion.

Ckay shared a photo of himself posing in front of his new property, alongside the building where he used to live in 2014.

The songwriter said he is grateful, adding that he “came a really long way”.

He also announced that his latest single featuring Blaqbonez will be released on Friday.

“2023 vs 2014. came a really long way. grateful. HALLELUJAH out on Friday!” he wrote.

Ckay rose to stardom following the release of his hit song ‘Love Nwantiti’ in 2019.

In 2022, the song came top at the launch of the Billboard Afrobeats chart.

During an interview, Ckay recalled how he disobeyed his parents to pursue music.

He said his family didn’t know better at the time, so they had opposed his choice of career.

“I grew up in Kaduna where I left on November 3, 2014. I left because I wanted to pursue my dream of music but my parents weren’t encouraging. They had very different views on what I should be. We couldn’t come to agree,” he had said.

In April, the singer expressed delight after Olamide, the rapper, enlisted him for ‘Trumpet‘, his recent single.
