Stormzy, the UK rapper, has teamed up with Rema, the Nigerian singer, for the remix of his hit track ‘Hide and Seek’.
The song, which was released on Friday, is produced by Finito and Niphkeys.
In the remix, Rema adds colour with his soulful tale of a love lost.
“You don’t need to call me, just come through / I don’t really like to see, ah, really feels good / Say me worried, me want fi do / All the money and the world you with / Still can’t make you happy / Yeah, me know that can get spooky/In my life, me make it groovy yeah,” they sing.
“When you need the sugar you give me signal / You get the keys to my yard / You sabi the keys to my / Yeah, you dey likе to my fire / Every day I see you, it’s like thе first time / I can’t comprehend these feelings feelings.”
‘Hide and Seek’ is a track from ‘This Is What I Mean’, the rapper’s third studio album.
The 12-track project, which was released on November 22, featured Nigerian artistes like Teni, Oxlade, and Ayra Starr.
Since the release of his debut in 2017, Stormzy has made a name for himself in the international music space.
He has won numerous awards for his works and collaborated with top music stars.
He has two extended plays (EP) to his credit, including ‘Dreamers Disease’ (2014) and ‘For All We Know’ (2017).
Rema has been enjoying massive reception from music lovers since he came into the limelight.
