Stanley Omah Didia, the Nigerian singer better known as Omah Lay, says he does not get support from his “biggest inspirations.”
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, the 25-year-old songwriter also insinuated that his “so-called mentors” aren’t promoting his music career because they are scared of him.
“Dem no dey gree support me because them dey fear haha! even my so-called biggest inspirations all of them join,” he wrote.

It remains to be seen who the singer is actually taking a swipe at.
Omah Lay started his music career at the age of 15 and then rose to prominence after the release of ‘You’ and ‘Bad Influence’, his two hit singles.
He has continued to enjoy fame in the Nigerian music industry with several beautiful offerings.
In 2021, the ‘Understand’ crooner edged Tems, Oxlade, and Bella Shmurda to win the much-coveted ‘Next Rated’ artiste award at The Headies.
In July last year, Omah Lay revealed how he battled with depression while recording his debut album ‘Boy Alone’.
“I wanna spill my heart on this app like this, ‘Boy Alone’ might be the last time y’all will hear me cry on a song, On G, I was dead a*s down, insecure, scared, depressed, and losing my mind like. I was literally gonna kill myself,” he said.
“People I used to look up to stopped showing me love, I looked people in the eye and saw doubt, disrespect and hate. I lost myself, maybe I was just overthinking, I don’t know.”
