Ruth Kadiri, Nollywood actress and film producer, has taken to social media to celebrate Ezerika, her husband, on their first wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the 32-year-old movie star shared a picture of herself and her husband kissing in what seems to be a romantic moment.
She expressed her satisfaction with the marriage so far, describing it as “peaceful”.
“Being your wife is so peaceful. I love it here. Happy anniversary to us,” she wrote.
The screenwriter and film producer had kept her relationship a secret until December 2017, when she announced on her social media pages that she was engaged.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2019 and the union has been blessed with a beautiful daughter.
Earlier this year, the movie star had recounted how she was depressed when she got pregnant for fear of having her career ruined and not being good enough to be a mother.
In August, she had also called for the abolishment of voting in Nigeria until laws sentencing politicians — as well as public servants — to death are implemented over the misuse of public funds.
Kadiri had charged Nigerians to become more critical of political parties and their manifestoes before voting for their preferred candidates during elections.
