Charly Boy and Diane, his wife, have shared insight into why their marriage has lasted long.
The singer put out a video of their private conversation about keeping the union going on social media.
Charly Boy has been married to Diane Oputa, the singer and former fashion designer, for more than four decades.
The lovebirds also have children together.
Charly Boy, who has been married before, also has children from past relationships.
It is understood that he met Diane in 1974 in a hair salon in Boston, US where he had gone to get a hairdo.
In 2018, Charly Boy and Diane renewed their official marital vows.
In the video, Charly Boy admitted to how boredom could plague a marriage.

His wife then stated that, although they have renewed their vows up to four times, they should head to count 12.
She said this could spice up the mood in the union and keep boredom at bay.
The couple both admitted they have quarreled thousands of times.
The video ended with them both admitting that they would manage their troubles and keep going.
“Everybody manages. Ours won’t be any different,” Diane is heard saying in the video.
In August 2022, the ace singer insinuated that he “was tired” of his marriage and missed bachelorhood.
He would later clarify that was just trying to explain that marriage is not always rosy as many people assume.
