The political goof(s) of the past week were between a husband and wife who chose to address their political disagreements and standpoints on marriage roles, in the full glare of the world.
Aisha Buhari, Nigeria’s first lady, was officially consigned to the kitchen and “the other room” by her doting husband, Muhammadu Buhari, whose day job is president and commander in chief of the armed forces.
His decree came from faraway Germany, around climes where the president is often inclined to divulge information, while Aisha was in the kitchen or the other room presidential villa.
And we must not forget the judges and justices whose homes were raided – themselves arrested – by the Department of State Services.
Theirs was a landmark event in Nigeria’s history.
It hadn’t been done before and as such, it elicited fury, condemnation, and criticism from various quarters.
Everyone went mad, but not many sought full understanding.
So, who will be the judge?
