The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, (JAMB) had earlier announced that universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education would use 180 as their cut off mark for admission.

Based on the modifications made by JAMB for the 2016 admission process, cut off mark is now a summation of a candidate’s jamb score and post jamb score; which are both divided into two to get an aggregate score.

Prospective medicine students of the Nnamdi Azikwe University (UNIZIK) are expected to have a score of 293 while those interested in studying nursing must have a score of 272.5.
