Minaj and Samuels, both American rappers, engaged in a heated Twitter battle on Tuesday after Minaj accused Safaree of stealing her credit card to pay for prostitutes during their 12-year relationship.

Samuels promptly responded to the accusations by saying she should “let all that ish go”.

“I didn’t use your card for prostitutes,” he continued. “We both didn’t trust each other.”

Samuels subsequently accused Minaj of assault, claiming she once stabbed him and he had to be hospitalised.

“Remember the night you cut me and I almost died,” he said.

“The police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn’t take you to jail.

“When things like that start happening more than once it’s time to dip.”

The Grammy-nominated rapper responded by insisting that Samuels stole her card.

Minaj also alleged that she regrets paying for his hairline to be fixed.

Fortunately for Samuels, Minaj’s swipe enabled him to make a profit by referring clients to the doctor who worked on his hairline.

“I just made 30k today,” he disclosed. “Just by referring people to the doctor who did my hairline.”

Minaj ended the back and forth by saying she will share more about her relationship with Samuels on the next episode of her new Beats 1 show, Queen Radio.

The show is expected to air on Thursday.
