I’m a proud Fulani bride, says Zahra Buhari

Zahra Buhari, daughter of president Muhammadu Buhari, has gotten married to Ahmed Indimi, son of Mohammed Indimi, billionaire oil magnate.

Although the marriage ceremony is still ongoing in Abuja, the new bride took to social media to share pictures and romantic words.

In one post, Zahra wrote: “Alhamdulillah. Our forever starts now…#zahmed2016”

The first daughter also said she insisted on wearing the traditional rich blue Fulani fabric for her wedding.

She noted that as a “proud Fulani bride”, she has a great deal of respect for tradition.

“I respect tradition, it is what makes us unique.. For my kamu I insisted on wearing the rich blue traditional Fulani fabric that was worn by generations before us. I am proudly Fulani bride,” she wrote.
