R. Kelly, a popular R&B singer born Robert Kelly, had submitted himself to the authorities after charges of sexual assault were levelled against him.

Love had helped the singer meet bail by posting a $100,000 bond; tendering four bond slips of $25,000.

Brad Edwards, a reporter with CBS Chicago reporter, took to his verified Twitter handle to report that multiple people had called in a bomb threat on Saturday at a local daycare connected to the woman who posted R. Kelly’s $100k bond.

According to Edward, the Chicago Police Department has not arrested anyone and the anti-bomb has cleared the scene.

Either way, the music icon is expected to return to court on March 22, 2019, where he will answer questions pertaining to the numerous sexual abuse allegations levelled against him.

The 52-year-old singer has pleaded not guilty to plea to all 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

In a statement released after posting the bail, Love said the money was not her money.

“I’m not going to say it was my money (Valencia P. Love) or his (R. Kelly) money and he’s not broke. He was going to post bond by Thursday anyway,” she said.

“He’s my friend and I knew he needed help. There are three sides to every story, his side, there’s (the alleged victims), and the truth.”
