As he staves off a lawsuit for failing to honour a performance agreement, Wizkid has expressed love for his fans in Uganda.
The Nigerian singer was recently sued by FACE TV for missing a concert billed to hold on Saturday, December 3, in Kampala.
An arrest warrant was issued for the Starboy and the show promoter also wrote to Interpol to place a red alert on Wizkid who was in Los Angeles, U.S., at the time.
A week down the line, Wizkid and Sunday Are, his manager, who was also sued, appear to be in talks to hold a rescheduled concert in Uganda.
Wizkid dropped hints of the development on Twitter when an Ugandan fan expressed anticipation for the artiste’s performance in his country.
After informing the fan that he’s working with his management to fix dates for the concert, Wizkid tweeted: “I just wanna make music and perform to my people! Y’all forgive me for everything else! Way up! Stay up.”
Working on dates to come see u guys! Y’all knw i’m just here to spread good vibes and positive energy! Love my Uganda fans! 💙 https://t.co/cEA5OYlgaS
