Wizkid, the Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, has announced the completion of ‘More Love, Less Ego’, his fifth studio album.

The 31-year-old songwriter had disclosed the name of the upcoming album during his ‘Made in Lagos’ tour in October 2021.

In a recent post on his Instagram story, the ‘Reckless’ crooner said the album is now completed. The singer also said the body of work was made with “a lot of love”.

In another post, Wizkid appreciated those who took part in the album’s production while saying they had a special place in his heart.

“I made this one with a lot of love!! Opoju! #MLLE,” he wrote.

“Special thanks to everyone that helped me put this together. Y’all got a special place in my heart. #MLLE.”

The singer also hinted that he might hold a special show for the album in Los Angeles.

With several hit projects and awards, Wizkid has established himself as a household name in the global music industry.

The singer’s career has spanned over a decade with four studio albums to his credit.

‘Made In Lagos’, his fourth studio album, recently got two nominations at the 2022 edition of the Grammy Awards.

‘Essence,’ a song of the 2020 album, has been breaking records internationally. In October 2021, the single hit a new peak of No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
