Adaeze, the self-acclaimed ex-lover to Miracle Igbokwe, the 2018 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) winner, says the reality star didn’t marry her to get a United States green card.

In a now-viral video, the lady disclosed that she and the reality star got married last year in America.

Adaeze, who lives in the US, said Miracle didn’t tell her that he won the third season of BBNaija when they met.

She added that she wasn’t also aware of his celebrity status in Nigeria.

The lady said contrary to diverse claims about their union, Miracle did not marry her because of the green card.

She also disclosed that during their time together, the reality star motivated her, helped her through school, and got her a car.

Adaeze said a few months after their wedding they had a big fight that led to her filing for a divorce, after which she was arrested and jailed over what she described as a “little altercation.”

“Miracle and I are best friends, the thing is that Miracle helped me get the car that I have now, he helped me go through school. He picked me up and motivated me,” he said.

“He didn’t need me for a green card. He even told me if he wants to go back home, he would because he has plenty of stuff back home that he can do.

“Plus, I didn’t know how big he was or that he’s such a celebrity type guy. I don’t even know about Big Brother, I never watched it.

“When we met, he didn’t tell me about it. It was something he didn’t want me to know or talk about.

“So, I still care for Miracle, he is a great guy, he is not the only one that did wrong just because he ended up leaving or whatever, that is fine now.

“I don’t ever put the blame on anybody, it takes two to tangle and mess up things that are really good.

“We got married in January 2020, after that, I think it was June that we had our first big argument, it did not go well.

“I tried to give him divorce papers and I ended up going to jail because we got into a little altercation. So, after that we were really good and we started working things out.”

Miracle is yet to react to Adaeze’s claims as of the time of this report.
